Frequently asked questions

Got questions? We’ve got answers.

  • Our practice is located in California. Clients must be a resident of California to receive online therapy from our Licensed Therapists.

  • Getting started with online therapy is very easy…

    1. Give us a call, text, email, or message and our admin team will assign you to a therapist that fits your needs.

    2. You will receive an email with a HIPAA secure link to join your scheduled session.

    3. Begin online therapy with your therapist!

  • Currently, our practice is only providing sessions via Telehealth.

  • Couples Therapy - $200 Per Session (50 Minutes)

Individual Therapy - $200 Per Session (50 Minutes)

  • We do not currently accept insurance. Some of the benefits of not using insurance include:

-Increased confidentiality. Your information stays between you and your therapist.

-Insurance does not cover “Couples Therapy.”

-Insurance requires you to have a diagnosis.

-Treatment flexibility. Your treatment is fully decided between you and your therapist, not your insurance provider.

If you have a PPO plan, we can provide you with superbill to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

  • You will be warmly greeted by your therapist. At this time, you and your therapist will discuss your goals for therapy and how he/she can help you in meeting them.

Come as you are. This is your time from the convenience of your space.

  • There’s no exact timeline for healing. You and your therapist will have ongoing evaluations of the progress toward your goals and together you determine the necessary time for therapy.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
